A tiny bit about me: I am originally from Rhode Island and Connecticut, but have lived in Northern California since 1984. I started with a semi-pro film camera at age 19 and won my first competition almost immediately. In 1999, I finally went professional and fine-tuned a love I have for capturing what I see as the "romance" or “mystery” hidden in everything I turn the lens to.

I concentrate on fine art imagery using high-end cameras modified to change the light the camera sees, in order to include infrared. There sometimes is a small amount of color in the spectrum, called “false color". The result is the unique effect you'll see here. Each image is different in the degree and depth of color available, based largely on the quality of light in the sky at the moment it's captured, among other factors.

There is a magic beyond what the human eye can see. My aim is to capture that alternate reality; a type of dreamscape that is all around us.

There is no computer-generated trickery here. The customized camera merely filters what you are able to see – and lets you see more, while at the same time, seeing less.

The images are printed on archival-quality paper, printed on canvas, or printed and float mounted on metal, (stunning!!).
